World First - Alba Power completes Avon 200 Overhaul

9th January 2012During a recent contract Alba Power was requested to provide an Avon transportation pod. The pod of course must be capable of safely transporting and Avon gas turbine worldwide, the Alba Power supplied transportation pod does this will ultimate ease and can be nitrogen purged if long term storage of a gas turbine is required.
Avon receives overhaul and swirler modification
6th January 2012Alba Power has successfully performed many Avon gas turbine overhauls, so it came as no surprise that an award was made to Alba Power to provide an Avon gas turbine overhaul including swirler burner modifications as part of this all inclusive fixed price contract.
